Land of the Brave by Jerry Nelson
From the Introduction
I hope you're disturbed by the picture on the cover. It's not pleasant to look at I agree. The formatting of the photos along with the juxtaposition of the two images is meant to be disturbing and put you off center.
This is what our country has done to our veterans. The "Home of the Brave" has become the "The Homeless and Forgotten". Proceeds from the sale of this book will be shared with the American Legion, VFW and National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.
Thanks for your support.

Reach for the Skye by Jerry Nelson
On Monday, March 26th, 2007 around 7:40 in the evening, Skye and her boyfriend, Ben, were riding their bicycles home from the grocery store.
It was a casual one mile trip through a quiet residential neighborhood for Skye and Ben, both experienced mountain and road cyclists.
Just blocks from their apartment, Skye, for unknown reasons, lost control of her bike and fell, hitting her head on the pavement, putting her in a coma
In that blink of an eye, Skye’s life and the lives of all who love her changed forever.
On June 25, 2009, a fundraiser was held at The Orange Peel in Asheville for Skye. The Orange Peel and Southern Fried Blues Society were nice enough to let me be the photographer for the fundraiser. This book is the collection of those pictures. Proceeds from the sale of the book are shared with the "Reach for the Skye" foundation.
