Asheville Symphony in the grand new park on Labor Day for Symphony in the Park was crowded. Music Director Daniel Meyer conducted members of the Asheville Symphony through an evening of popular classics and highlights from the Asheville Symphony's 50th Anniversary Season. Classical selections included Rossini's Finale to the William Tell Overture, Bizet's Suite from Carmen, and selections from Rodgers and Hammerstein, John Williams, and John Phillip Sousa.
